What a treat! Two offerings from Roger Waters, one just before turning in last night, and one as soon as I get up this morning!

Did you ever read Stranger in a Strange Land, Roger? If so you'll know the meaning of "water brothers". Maybe you could play around with that theme for the name of your stack? Just a thought. "Roger Waters" works just fine given that everyone knows who you are.

Anyway, good morning Brother Waters!!! Thanks for your Gorby story. With love, Kali

Hey Rog, are you going to use this channel to say something about Palestine and put an end to their insanity or what?

I was in first year uni when Gorbachev became the president of the USSR. I grabbed a copy of Time from the subway and recall reading "make no mistake, he has a nice smile but sharp teeth." It took years for me to disabuse myself of that little piece of propaganda. In the process I became aware of what Chomsky has called manufacturing consent.

Mikhail Gorbachev was a brave and principled man. He truly deserved his Nobel, unlike many other world leaders.

That story is hilarious. It needs to be re-told.

Thank you, Roger Waters.

And thank you for playing This is Not a Drill in Toronto. I took my 12 and 14 year olds to see you. We had a great blast. The show must go on :)
